New iMac, New iLife, New iWork
Today, Apple unveiled new iMacs that offer faster processors, faster ports, video out, and a thinner, recyclable glass and aluminum case. A redesigned ultrathin keyboard follows suit. The 17-inch model has been dropped from the lineup as 20- and 24-inch models reign while offering an improved, faster graphics card and larger capacity hard drives within. Highly recommended.
Also new and different: iLife '08 with totally redesigned iMovie and revamped iPhoto. The Apple office software package iWork was also upgraded, now including a spreadsheet. DotMac is now integrated with iPhoto and iPhone, permitting the user to upload photos to iPhone.
Upgrades are found in iWeb, iDVD,and GarageBand, too.
